Join the Australian Web Industry Association (AWIA) at Besk for a relaxed evening of networking, drinks, nibbles and good conversations with people from across Perth’s digital and web industry.
Whether you work in web, design, development, marketing, technology, UX, content, strategy or somewhere in between, this is a chance to meet new people, reconnect with the community and share ideas, experiences and learnings.

AWIA Representatives
We’ll be joined by two AWIA representatives who will help kick off conversations and connect with the local industry:
- Sharne Wiehl is a former AWIA Coordinator and currently Senior Project Manager & Head of People & Culture at Humaan. Having previously worked closely with the AWIA community, Sharne brings a wealth of experience and connections across the Australian web industry.
- Shannon Murray is a new AWIA Board Director and Partner & Head of Technology & Innovation at Rare. Shannon brings a strong focus on technology, innovation and the future of the digital industry.
Both Sharne and Shannon will be there for a chat, to meet the Perth community and kick off a few conversations around the ideas, challenges and opportunities shaping our industry.
